The present work consist to the fabrication and characterization of Hg doped ZnO thin films. The sample preparation was carried out by the colloidal method. The pure and Hg doped ZnO thin films were deposited on glass matrix using a dip-coating technique. The optimal condition for samples fabrication has been investigated. The XRD and Raman characterizations show that the ZnO thin film crystallize with a wurtzite structure, while the SEM image displays a nanometric size of ZnO

crystallites. The optical density shows a blue shift of the gap towards aa higher energies Scholar articles
