2 Instructions
2.1 The galvanometer
The simplicity of the device makes it very easy to use.
2.2 Releasing the needle
To avoid any damage to the moving element, the needle has been locked in place during transportation. The needle can be released by rotating the side button by half a turn.
2.3 Resetting
This can be done by operating the button located on the side of the case containing the moving element block.
This button is also used to place the needle in front of the 0 graduation.
2.4 Connection with the circuit: It is done

• With the 2 cases (see diagram below):
Use as ammeter Caution:
Respect the limitations of the device:
• Maximum voltage not to be exceeded in DC: 60 V
• Maximum voltage not to be exceeded in AC: 30 V RMS
Connect using two cords the "link with the galvanometer" terminals of the case to the two terminals of the galvanometer by respecting the colour code (red terminal of the case on the red terminal of the galvanometer, black terminal of the case on the black terminal of the galvanometer).
Before connecting (in series) the device to the circuit, place the rotary contact for ranges on the maximum range (10 A).
• For DC measurements, toggle the switch to the " = " symbol (the device must be connected to the red and black sockets under the
"Direct Current" marking)
• For AC measurements, toggle the switch to the " ~ " symbol (the device must be connected to the green sockets under the
"Alternating Current" marking).
Gradually reduce the range if the lower range is not exceeded.
Slide the dial corresponding to its range.
