Postovani,

Dajemo punu potporu na pridruzivanje multinacionalnoj nominaciji "Sokolarstvo: zivuca bastina fovjecanstva" koja je vec upisana na UNESCO-ov Reprezentativni popis

nematerijalne kulturne bastine covjecanstva.

Razlog tome je sto sokolarenje ima dugu i neprekinutu tradiciju koja se stoljecima prenosi na nove zaljubljenike u ovu tradicionalnu disciplinu na prostoru Hrvatske.

Kako je u Republici Hrvatskoj sokolarstvo potpuno zakonski regulirano i zivi kao tradicija medu ljudima, u buducnosti kao i do sada cilja nam je pridobiti sto veci broj novih sokolara, nastaviti organizirati domace i medunarodne sokolarske skupove, pisati clanke, raditi

radionice od vrticke dobi preko osnovnih i srednjih skola pa sve do veleucilista i fakulteta te nastaviti tradiciju sokolarenja.

nomination, as inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Falconry has had a long and continuous presence that has been passed on to new lovers of this traditional discipline on the territory of present-day Croatia.

In the Republic of Croatia, falconry has been completely regulated by law and has been a living tradition among people. In the future, it will remain our aim to attract as many new falconers as possible, to continue organising national and international gatherings of falconers, to write articles, to organise workshops for children and young people of all ages, from pre-school and school to college and university students, and to continue our falconry tradition.

In addition, the "Falconry Centre" organisation of Sibenik was the first in the Republic of Croatia to start formal falconry training, and in the meantime has developed into a centre that actively deals with the protection of birds of prey by using the falconry techniques that best serve this purpose.
