CALL FOR PAPERS

International Conference Women, Gender and Intersectionality in the Lusophone World June 29 to July 2, 2022, Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal

Following a hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Lusophone Studies Association (LSA) is pleased to announce that its next conference will take place in beautiful Azores (Ponta Delgada, São Miguel) from June 29 to July 2, 2022. This conference will be held and organized jointly with the Centro de Estudos Humanísticos (CEHu) and Centro de Humanidades (CHAM) of the University of the Azores. The conference’s theme is Women, Gender and Intersectionality in the Lusophone World. As such, it will welcome individual papers, thematic panels and

roundtables on topics as diverse as: diasporas, gender, education, film, history, law, literature, migration, race, religion, among others. Although a limited number of online proposals will be accepted, in-person proposals will be prioritized.

The deadline for submitting individual paper and thematic panel/roundtable proposals is December 15, 2021. Individual paper submissions should include: names(s) of author(s);

institutional affiliation; email address(es); specify if in-person or online; title of abstract; and abstract of 250 words, maximum. Thematic panel and/or roundtable proposals should include, beyond a title and a summary of no more than 250 words, all of the information above for each participant. Proposals for individual papers and thematic panels/roundtables must be submitted in MS Word or RTF format and in Times New Roman font size 12. Papers may be presented in English, French or Portuguese: however, simultaneous translation will not be available. Conferência Internacional Mulher, Género e Interseccionalidade no Mundo Lusófono 29 de junho a 2 de julho de 2022, Ponta Delgada, Açores, Portugal

Após um interregno devido à pandemia Covid-19, a Associação de Estudos Lusófonos

(Lusophone Studies Association - LSA) tem o prazer de anunciar que a sua próxima conferência terá lugar no belo arquipélago dos Açores (Ponta Delgada, São Miguel) de 29 de junho a 2 de julho de 2022. Esta conferência será realizada e organizada em conjunto com o Centro de Estudos Humanísticos (CEHu) e o Centro de Humanidades (CHAM) da Universidade dos

Açores. O tema da conferência é Mulher, Género e Interseccionalidade no Mundo Lusófono.

Acolherá trabalhos individuais, painéis temáticos e mesas-redondas sobre temas e em disciplinas tão diversos como: diásporas, género, educação, cinema, história, direito, literatura, migração, raça, religião, entre outros. Embora um número limitado de propostas on-line serão aceites, as propostas presenciais terão prioridade.

O prazo para a apresentação de proposta individual ou proposta temática/mesa-redonda é 15 de dezembro de 2021. As submissões individuais devem incluir: nome(s) do(s) autor(es); filiação institucional; endereço de e-mail; indicação se presencial ou online; título do resumo e resumo de 250 palavras, no máximo. Os painéis temáticos e/ou as propostas de mesa-redonda devem

incluir, para além de um título e um resumo de não mais de 250 palavras, todas as informações acima referidas para cada participante. As propostas para trabalhos individuais e painéis temáticos/mesas-redondas devem ser apresentadas em MS Word ou formato RTF e em Times New Roman, tamanho 12. Os trabalhos podem ser apresentados em inglês, francês ou português;

no entanto, não haverá tradução simultânea. Envie as suas submissões para lsa@yorku.ca e cham.diretor@uac.pt com o assunto "Proposta - Conferência Internacional LSA, 2022".

Après une interruption due à la pandémie de Covid-19, l'Association des études lusophones (AEL) est heureuse d'annoncer que sa prochaine conférence aura lieu dans le magnifique archipel des Açores (à Ponta Delgada, île de São Miguel) du 29 juin au 2 juillet 2022. Cette conférence sera organisée conjointement avec le Centro de Estudos Humanísticos (CEHu) et le Centro de Humanidades (CHAM) de l’Université des Açores. Le thème de la conférence est

Femmes, genre et intersectionnalité dans le monde lusophone. À ce titre, elle accueillera des communications individuelles, des ateliers thématiques et des tables rondes sur des sujets aussi divers que: les diasporas, le genre, l'éducation, le cinéma, l'histoire, le droit, la littérature, la migration, la race, la religion, entre autres. Un nombre limité de propositions en

ligne pourront être acceptées, mais priorité sera donnée aux communications en présence.

La date limite de soumission des propositions de communications individuelles, d'ateliers thématiques et de tables rondes est fixée au 15 décembre 2021. Les propositions de

communications individuelles doivent inclure: le nom de l'auteur ou des auteurs, l'affiliation institutionnelle, l'adresse électronique, l’indication en présence ou en ligne, le titre du résumé et un résumé de 250 mots maximum. Les propositions d’ateliers thématiques et/ou de tables rondes doivent inclure, outre un titre et un résumé de 250 mots maximum, toutes les informations ci- dessus pour chaque participant. Les propositions de communications individuelles et d’ateliers thématiques/tables rondes doivent être soumises en format MS Word ou RTF et en police Times New Roman taille 12. Les communications peuvent être présentées en anglais, en français ou en portugais, mais aucune traduction simultanée ne sera disponible. Veuillez adresser vos
