Open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 8:30 pm July open: Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm Closed: Weekends, Easter, August and Christmas.

Library rules:

 This is a silent study space: please keep quiet at all times.

 You may not save a seat, specially during exam periods.

 Not eating, drinking, or smoking in the library.

 Please leave books on the carts, not on the selves.

 Please take care of the books and the library facilities.

Collections

The Biblioteca Josep Laporte supports professors, researchers and students of the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), the Fundació Salut i Envelliment and the language service of the UAB (UAB Languages).

Our collection is made up of the specialized research documents and other information sources aimed at the studies of the Facultat de Medicina UAB and the Escola Universitària d’Infermeria Sant Pau, center attached to the UAB. It also includes material from the UAB Languages.

 You can access the full text of digital documents: books, chapters or articles. You should use your UAB passwords to access electronic resources when you are outside of campus.

 You can check the status of your loans and carry out procedures such as renewals and reservations using “My Account”.

The Library has 8 lecterns and 3 headphones that you can borrow.

Study rooms

There are three study rooms exclusively for academic purposes. You can access with the valid UAB ID card. Durations of the loan: 4 hours. You can book these study rooms in the
