The International Court of Justice elects its Bureau

The Court elected on 10 February, Judge Mohammed Bedjaoui as its President, and Judge Stephen M. Schwebel as its Vice-President.

Their terms of office as President and Vice-President will end on 5 February 1997.

The Composition of the Court is now as follows:

President: Mohammed Bedjaoui (Algeria)
