(2) Amendments to the Articles of Association The proposed amendments to the Articles of Association were also approved. The main amendments are: - the dematerialisation of the Fortis Share in response to Belgian legislation requiring dematerialisation as from 1 January 2008 - authorisation of the Board of Directors to introduce a registration date system with respect to general shareholders’ meetings. - bringing forward the date of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
