200 – Résumé:This study is interested in the role of the sports associations of closeness in the promotion of the sports practice under its two aspects: competitive and of leisure within the Algerian society.
The chosen sample consists of 200 members belonging to associations of this kind in the capital Algiers; the chosen method is the follow-up and the analysis and the adopted approach amounts:
- The primary observation - The study of exploration- The interview - The questionnaire.
- The results of the study revealed the role of the sports practice, under its two aspects: competitive and of leisure, in the global development and the socialization of the individuals. So, this study emphasized the influence that a good management within the sports associations of closeness, can have on the promotion of the sport under its two aspects: competitive and of leisure.
