Spaces to work individually and silently

Training room, Computer room, open room to work , 9 rooms to work in group that you may reserver for a better experience.

At the School of Engineering there is a mailbox where you can deposit the documents to be returned.

In addition, we offer you a loan of computer equipment:

• laptop and charger, with a loan limited to the Library premises for a period of 4 hours. If necessary, we also give you the mouse.

• USB memories, with a loan for 7 days.

• lockers to charge the batteries, with a loan during the same day.

We can provide you with other objects as: calculators, headphones, slate kits (felt tip pen + eraser),.molecular kits, lecterns, pointer laser and carrier for mobile telephones,

Consultation and i computer equipament

To access the computers, identify with your NIU / password. If you do not belong to the UAB community, you can do it with your Google account or request a temporary access password at the counter.

To consult the digital library you can use the

• public computers of the Library

• mobile devices, connecting them to the wifi UAB or Eduroam network

• from outside, when accessing the not open access resources from the Search engine www.uab.cat/libraries/ you will be asked for your NIU / password.

It allows you to locate bibliographic information in an integrated way, such as:

• access to the full text of digital documents: books, chapters or articles.

• documents in physical support, you will find the location and status

• consult the bibliography of a subject

Check the status of your loans and carry out procedures such as renewals and reservations from the "My Account”

If the document is in the Library deposit you will be sent a form to request it.

You will have it at the Library in a maximum of 24 hours.

You will find a book acquisition suggestion form at www.bib.uab.cat/serveis/adquisicio_documents We will communicate you if we have accepted your request.
