Joan Russell JOAN RUSSELL, a lecturer in the Department of Culture and Values, Faculty of Education, McGili University, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in music education and is Director of the Music Specialist Diploma Program. She is a research consultant for the Quebec Ministry of Education and is active in the music education research community.

la faculté des sciences de l'éducation de l'Université McGili. Elle donne des cours d'enseignement de la musique à des professeurs généralistes et est directrice du programme de diplôme de spécialistes de la musique. Elle est conseillère en recherche pour le ministère de l'Éducation du Québec et est très active dans les milieux de la recherche sur l'enseignement de la musique.
