Demonstrate your excellence in successfully reducing HAI rates by implementing a

Hand Hygiene Programme.

Applying hospitals demonstrate sustainability in:

- increasing hand hygiene compliance - reduction in infection rates - increasing handrub consumption

- consumption of liquid soap

by providing data for a period of at least three years.

The Award is conceived as a platform to identify, recognize, honour and celebrate those hospitals and health care work groups who have contributed to improving patient safety through their excellence, enthusiasm and innovatory methods.
