As a group of artists which are involved in making, playing, and training kamanche in the area of Republic of Azarbaijan, we hereby declare our free prior informed consent over the joint inscription of the traditional techniques and skills of its craftsmanship by Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan in the UNESCO world Intangible Cultural heritage list. We hope that by the inscription of this occasion, Azerbaijani's Kamanche with the other Kamanche in the other part like Turkmen Sahra, Lorestan and Traditional Iranian Kamanche, will be introduced to the world.

Civil institute of music included a group of distinguished artists, is the only professional guild union in the field of music with the aim promoting this art.

One of the aims of this institute, due to articles of its constitution, is to preserve and safeguard intangible cultural heritage, especially Iran traditional Musical instrument which is founded in the other neighbor countries including Republic of Azerbaijan. Iranian artist's forum is an artistic, cultural, nongovernmental organization. One of its goals is to establish communication with other artistic and cultural organization in order to improve the quality of the art, exchanging experience and presenting Iranian artistic works and capabilities to other countries and cultures, over the national and international level

Through inscription of "Skills and Techniques of Making and Playing Kamancheh", a number of large ethnic groups of Iran see themselves contributing in a national as well as universal project. This also refreshes the Iranians' minds that this cultural element belongs to everybody and is of paramount importance at national and international levels. Through its inscription, players and makers of Kamancheh would be sure that their activities, both in specialized fields and transmission to the next generations, are not disregarded by the most authentic universal cultural organizations.

As a result, players, makers and instructors of this musical instrument, as the main practitioners and bearers of this ICH, intend to contribute their share in the promotion of ICH in general at universal level through inscription of this art. As this inscription is one of the significant shared elements of ICH among different ethnic groups of Iran and her neighbors including Azerbaijan, it can unite or pave the ground for a better co-existence among their people, communities and ethnic groups.

Accordingly, as a group of the main practitioners and bearers of this ICH, hereby, declare our free and prior informed consent for inscription of the nomination file of

"Skills and Techniques of Making and Playing Kamancheh as a Classical and Folkloric Musical Instrument of Iran and Azerbaijan" in the UNESCO ICH Representative List.
