The function block FbBinaryInput_2Dimming serves as a dimming sensor and can control an external KNX dimming actuator via two binary input signals (switches).
This function block may only be used with the FbKNX_Master_xxx block from the KNX_Standard_1xx.lib library.
The two function blocks are synchronized via variable structure "typKNX" and must be linked to one another.
Using the switch commands "xDimmUP" or "xDimmDOWN", will switch lighting on and off (by briefly tapping the button) or dim/brighten lighting (by depressing the button for a longer period of time).
Binary Input for Two-level Dimming (FbBinaryInput_2Dimming)
Dimming and brightening is performed via 4-bit dimming object by the key being actuated for a longer period of time (parameterizable actuation time
“tShortSwitch”).
A stop telegram is transmitted via 4-bit dimming object when the key is released.
This discontinues the dimming process in the KNX dimming actuator.
Brief actuation (pressing) of the key causes the lighting to be switched on/off. The switching telegram is transmitted via 1-bit switching object.
The following communication objects are generated by the function block:
Object name1): Function: Type: Direction:
xxx.yyy.OUT_Switch[1] Switch 1 bit Output
xxx.yyy.Out_Dimming[1] Dimming 4 bit Output
1) The prefix xxx. is determined by the program name (e.g., PLC _PRG).
The prefix yyy. is determined by the entity name of the function block.

This function block may only be used with the FbKNX_Master_xxx block from the KNX_Standard_1xx.lib library.
The two function blocks are synchronized via variable structure "typKNX" and must be linked to one another.
Parameters can be set for each input ("xInput_0" to "xInput_3") to determine the reaction to a rising, or falling, input slope. For example, parameters can be assigned defining that an activation telegram be transmitted on a rising slope and that
telegram updating is not to be conducted with a falling slope. In this case, the corresponding communication object would only transmit an ON telegram. Refer to Section "Visual Display Elements" for further parameterization explanations.

he function block FbDimm_actuator_4 serves as a four-point KNX dimming actuator and can be controlled using corresponding KNX communication objects.
This function block may only be used with the FbKN X_Master_xxx block from the KNX _Standard.lib library.
The two function blocks are synchronized via variable structure "typKNX" and must be linked to one an other.
The inputs "xPushbutton_UP_x" and "xPushButton_DOWN_x" enable addition activation of the dimming actuator using standard buttons (extension mode).
Pressing the key for a longer period (>500 ms), dims the lighting. Briefly actuating the key (<500 ms) switches the lighting on/off.
The outputs "xSwitch_state_x" show the switching status for the dimming actuator.
The brightness values for the individual dimming channels are signaled via outputs
"wDimm_value_x", with the value 32767 defined as 100 % dimming value.
This function block can be parameterized using a visualization element. Refer to Section "Visual Display Elements" for further parameterization explanations.
The following functions are supported by the function block:
• Central ON/OFF for switching channels
• Adjustable dimming speed
• Activation response with and without memory function
• Adjustable minimum and maximum dimming values
• Adjustable output response after restoration of voltage
• Switching/dimming commands controlled via KNX communication objects, extension inputs or visualization
• Switching status return message via KNX communication object

Function description:
The function block FbSunblind_actuator_4 serves as a four-point KNX sunblind actuator and can be controlled using corresponding KNX communication objects.
This function block may only be used with the FbKNX_Master_xxx block from the KNX_Standard_1xx.lib library.
The two function blocks are synchronized via variable structure "typKNX" and must be linked to one another.
The inputs "xPushbutton_UP_x" and "xPushButton_DOWN_x" enable additional activation of the sunblind actuator using standard buttons (extension mode).
A movement command for the sunblind is issued by pressing the key for a longer period (>500 ms). Briefly pressing of the key (<500 ms) issues a Stop command. or lamellae to be adjusted (short movement command).
The outputs "xUP_x" and "xDOWN_x" are used for controlling the sunblind motor for the directions UP and DOWN.
This function block can be parameterized using a visualization element. Refer to Section "Visual Display Elements" for further parameterization explanations.
The following functions are supported by the function block:
• Central command for sunblind UP/DOWN
• Adjustable sunblind run time
• Adjustable pause period when changing direction of movement
• Adjustable running time for short movement commands
• Movement to a sun protection position, with subsequent adjustment of lamellae

Dim Signal Evaluation (FbDimmSignal)
Function description:
The function block FbDimmSignal converts received KNX dim telegrams in binary output signals. The output signals can be connected for example with the inputs of the dim function blocks from the DALI_02.lib library. The behavior to the
"xDimmUp“ and "xDimmDown“ outputs corresponds to the operation concept of short / long button actuation. A 1-bit switching telegram is sent if the button of the KNX sensor is pushed briefly. This switching telegram creates a short pulse at the
"xDimmUp" or "xDimmDown" output. The power-on command is transmitted at output "xDimmUp“ and the power-off command at output "xDimmDown".
A 4-bit dim telegram is sent by pushing the button longer. The output "xDimmUp" or
"xDimmDown" is activated depending on the dim direction, A stop telegram of 4-bit dim object is sent by releasing the button. As a result, the activated output will be reset.
This function block may only be used with the FbKNX_Master_xxx block from the KNX_Standard_1xx.lib library.
The two function blocks are synchronized via variable structure "typKNX" and must be linked to one another.
Note:
The function block can only be used for KNX sensors that use the "Dimming with stop telegram“ function.
