GLOBALY HIGHLIGHTS

 As of 24-March-2020, there were 413467 total confirmed cases and 18433 total deaths with a resultant increase of 10.9% and 13.6% respectively in the last 24 hours

 175 countries/Regions are affected of which 49 are in Africa

WHAT IS THE SITUATION IN ETHIOPIA

In Africa, only 6 countries namely Botwana, Lesotho, Malawi, South Sudan, Sierra Leone and Western Sahara have not re- ported a single confirmed COVID-19 case.

A total of 2,758 confirmed cases and 83 deaths with a case fatality rate of 3.0%.

 Take preventive measures extremely seriously

 Avoid hand-shake and hugging at all times

 Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol base hand rub
