RULE 19 -
Delete the words "chief delegates" and substitute the word
,f delegates. "
RULE 24 Delete the whole and substitute!
"In the event that neither the President nor any Vice-President is present within thirty minutes of the appointed time for the opening of any meeting, the Director-General .shall preside pending the immediate election of an acting President from
amongst those present. Such -acting President shall hold office only for the period of absence of the President or any Vice- President."
RULE 2$
"Add the following:
"If a Vice-President is absent during a meeting or any part thereof, he may designate a member of his delegation as his substitute. The Chairman of a main committee shall, in. case of absence, designate the Vice.r-Chairman of the Committee as his substitute, provided that the Vice-Chairman shall not have the right to vote if he is. of the same delegation as another member of the Committee. Each of the six elected delegates shall be entitled to designate another member of his delegation tó act as his substitute in the event, of his absence from any meeting of the General Committee."
RULE 28
Add the following at the end of the second sentences
"Provided that one of the said members may, in the absence of the appointed representative of the delegation from any meeting or portion thereof, vote as well as speak."

RULE 38
Delete the words "plenary meetings and meetings", and substitute the words "public plenary meetings and public meetings."
RULE 45
Delete the whole and substitute the following!
"During the discussion of any matter a delegate may move the suspension or adjournment of the debate. In addition to the proposer of the motion, two delegates may speak in
favour of and two against the motion, after which the motion shall immediately be put to the vote."
RULE 84
Delete the whole and substitute the followingt
"Should the Health Assembly reject the Board's nomination,
the Board shall submit a fresh proposal as soon, as circumstances permit with due regard to the desirability of disposing of the matter before the conclusion of the relevant session of the Health Assembly."
i RULE 86
Delete the words "(Deputy) (Assistant)" and substitute the word "Deputy."
RULE 87
Delete the words "the Financial Regulations annexed thereto, and as may be assigned tofhim by the Assembly", and substitute the words "the Regulations annexed hereto, namely the Financial
Regulations (Annexure I) and the Staff Regulations (Annexure II), and as may be assigned to him by the Assembly or the Board."»
RULE 93
Delete the words following the word "Director-General" and • I substitute the words "in such time as will permit of the
transmission of copies thereof by the Director-General to Members not later than six months before the, opening day of the "session of the Health Assembly at which they are intended to be considered, и

Delete the whole consequentially upon the proposed amendment of Rule 93-
