4. UTILISATION
• Placer l’appareil sur une surface plane, stable, propre et sèche et l’ouvrir de manière à ce que la poignée soit face à l’utilisateur.
• Avant la première utilisation, préchauffer deux fois l’appareil et nettoyer soigneusement chaque pièce avec un chiffon humide.
A. RETRAIT ET CHANGEMENT DES PLAQUES Pour retirer les plaques :
• Deux boutons permettent de retirer les plaques (Fig.1). Le premier se situe dans le coin supérieur gauche du couvercle et le deuxième dans le coin inférieur droit de la base.
• Pousser fermement ces boutons vers l’intérieur de l’appareil tout en soulevant les plaques (Fig.2).
N.B. : Après utilisation, laisser toujours refroidir l’appareil pendant au moins 15 minutes avant de retirer les plaques.
Pour placer les plaques :
• Pour chaque plaque, insérer les deux guides de positionnement dans les encoches situées au fond du boîtier de l’appareil (Fig.3). Appuyer ensuite sur l’avant de la plaque jusqu’à ce que celle-ci soit correctement mise en place et verrouillée.
B. UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
• Brancher l’appareil en maintenant le couvercle fermé et la poignée verrouillée.
• Enclencher l’interrupteur (position « I »). Une lumière rouge s’allume, indiquant que l’appareil est alimenté et en préchauffage.
• Maintenir le couvercle fermé durant le préchauffage de l’appareil.
• Une lumière verte s’allume lorsque la température optimale est atteinte.
• Bien que les plaques soient pourvues d’un revêtement antiadhésif, il est conseillé de graisser légèrement les ingrédients avec un essuie-tout imbibé d’huile.
• Placer l’aliment sur la plaque du bas. Fermer le couvercle et verrouiller la poignée.
N.B. : Le système de verrouillage de la poignée exerce une pression qui permet une cuisson homogène des aliments. De plus, les plaques s’adaptent à la taille des aliments grâce aux charnières flottantes situées à l’arrière de l’appareil. L’épaisseur des ingrédients ne doit pas dépasser 3,5 cm.
• Estimer la cuisson en soulevant le couvercle.
• Lorsque le degré de cuisson souhaité est atteint, retirer l’aliment en soulevant délicatement les bords à l’aide d’une spatule en plastique thermorésistante ou en bois.
• Après la cuisson, éteindre l’interrupteur (position « 0 »), débrancher le cordon d’alimentation électrique et laisser l’appareil refroidir pendant au moins 15 minutes avant de manipuler l’appareil.
N.B. : Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé pour la première fois, il peut dégager une légère odeur et un peu de fumée. Ceci est normal et habituel pour les appareils équipés d’une surface antiadhésive.
5. L’AVIS DES CHEFS
• Pour graisser les plaques, utiliser de préférence du beurre à température ambiante.
• Pour enlever la graisse stagnant sur les plaques, éteindre l’appareil, glisser une feuille de papier absorbant et refermer l’appareil.
6. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Les plaques peuvent être lavées à la main ou au lave-vaisselle. Ne jamais utiliser d’objets métalliques tels que des couteaux pour le nettoyage des plaques car ils endommageraient le revêtement antiadhésif.
• Le boîtier et le couvercle peuvent être nettoyés avec un chiffon doux sec. Pour des taches plus tenaces, utiliser un chiffon humide. Ne jamais utiliser d’agent nettoyant abrasif ou de brosses à récurer.
• S’assurer que toutes les pièces soient propres et sèches avant de ranger l’appareil.
• Pour ranger le cordon électrique, utiliser l’enrouleur situé sous la base de l’appareil et placer la fiche de courant du cordon entre les poignées (Fig.4).
N.B. : Ne jamais enrouler le cordon électrique autour de l’appareil.
• L’appareil peut être rangé en position verticale afin d’occuper moins d’espace.

4. USE
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable, clean and dry surface and open it so that the handle is facing the user.
• Before first use, preheat the appliance twice and thoroughly clean each of the appliance’s parts with a damp cloth.
A. REMOVING AND CHANGING PLATES To remove the plates:
• Two buttons allow the plates to be removed (Fig.1). The first is located in the upper left corner of the lid and the second in the lower right corner of the base.
• Press these buttons firmly toward the inside of the appliance while lifting the plates (Fig.2).
N.B. : After use, always let the appliance cool for at least 15 minutes before removing the plates.
To position the plates:
• For each plate, insert the two positioning guides into the slots located at the bottom of the appliance housing (Fig.3). Then press the front of the plate until it is correctly set in place and locked.
B. USE OF THE APPLIANCE
• Connect the appliance with the lid kept closed and the handle locked.
• Switch on (position «1»). A red light turns on, indicating that the appliance is powered on and preheating.
• Keep the lid closed while the appliance preheats.
• A green light will come on when the optimum temperature is reached.
• Although the plates have a non-stick coating, we recommend lightly greasing ingredients with a light coating of oil.
• Set the food on the lower plate. Close the lid and lock the handle.
N.B. : The handle locking system applies a pressure that allows for uniform cooking of the food. In addition, the plates adapt to the size of the food thanks to the floating hinges located at the back of the unit. The ingredient thickness must not exceed 3.5 cm.
• Estimate cooking by lifting the lid.
• When the desired degree of doneness is reached, remove the food by gently lifting the edges with a heat-resistant plastic or wood spatula (never use metal utensils since they could damage the non-stick coating).
• After cooking, turn the switch off (“0” position), disconnect the power cord and let the appliance cool for at least 15 minutes before handling the appliance.
N.B. : When the appliance is used for the first time it may release a slight smell and a little smoke. This is normal and usual for appliances with a non-stick surface.
5. CHEFS’ TIPS
• To grease the plates it’s best to use butter at room temperature.
• To remove stagnant grease from the plates, turn the appliance off, slide a sheet of absorbent paper close the appliance.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• The plates can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Do not use metal object such as knives to clean the plates since they will damage the non-slip coating.
• The housing and the lid can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth. For more stubborn stains, use a damp cloth. Never use an abrasive cleaner or scrubbing brush.
• Make sure all the parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance.
• To store the power cord, use the winder located under the base of the appliance and place the power plug between the handles (Fig.4).
N.B. : Never wind the power cord around the appliance.
• The appliance can be stored upright to save space.

4. GEBRAUCHSHINWEISE
• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene, stabile, saubere und trockene Grundfläche, und richten Sie die Öffnung so aus, dass sich der Griff auf der Seite des Benutzers befindet.
• Das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch zweimal vorwärmen und jedes Teil sorgfältig mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.
A. HERAUSNEHMEN UND AUSWECHSELN DER PLATTEN Herausnehmen der Platten:
• Die Platten lassen sich über zwei Drucktasten entfernen (Abb.1). Die erste befindet sich in der oberen linken Ecke des Deckels, und die zweite in der unteren rechten Ecke der Basis.
• Drücken Sie diese Tasten fest in das Gerät hinein, und heben Sie gleichzeitig die Platten an (Abb.2).
Hinweis: Lassen Sie das Gerät nach dem Gebrauch grundsätzlich mindestens 15 Minuten lang abkühlen, bevor Sie die Platten herausnehmen.
Auswechseln der Platten:
• Schieben Sie die beiden Positionierführungen der jeweiligen Platte in die dafür vorgesehenen Öffnungen an der Gehäuserückseite des Geräts (Abb.3). Drücken Sie anschließend den vorderen Teil der Platte hinein, bis sie richtig eingerastet ist.
B. GEBRAUCH DES GERÄTS
• Schließen Sie das Gerät bei geschlossenem Deckel und verriegeltem Griff an.
• Ein-/Aus-Schalter betätigen (Stellung „I“). Eine rote Lampe leuchtet auf, um anzuzeigen, dass das Gerät unter Spannung steht und vorgeheizt wird.
• Halten Sie den Deckel beim Vorheizen des Geräts geschlossen.
• Eine grüne Lampe leuchtet auf, sobald die optimale Temperatur erreicht ist.
• Obgleich die Platten mit einer Antihaftbeschichtung versehen sind, wird empfohlen, die Zutaten leicht mit einem mit Öl getränkten Papiertuch einzufetten.
• Legen Sie das Grillgut auf die untere Platte. Schließen Sie den Deckel, und verriegeln Sie den Griff.
Hinweis: Durch die Verriegelung des Griffs wird ein Druck erzeugt, der das gleichmäßige Garen des Grillguts ermöglicht. Darüber hinaus lassen sich die Platten durch die höhenverstellbaren Scharniere an der Geräterückseite an die Dicke des Grillguts anpassen. Die enthaltenen Elemente dürfen nicht höher als 3,5 cm sein.
• Bestimmen Sie die verbleibende Garzeit, indem Sie den Deckel öffnen.
• Sobald der gewünschte Garzustand erreicht ist, nehmen Sie das Grillgut heraus, indem Sie zunächst die Ränder mit Hilfe eines Spatels aus hitzebeständigem Kunststoff oder Holz vorsichtig lösen (auf keinen Fall Metallutensilien verwenden, da die Antihaftbeschichtung dadurch beschädigt werden könnte).
• Betätigen Sie nach dem Gebrauch den Ein-/Aus-Schalter (in Stellung „0“), ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, und lassen Sie das Gerät mindestens 15 Minuten lang abkühlen, bevor Sie es berühren.
Hinweis: Beim ersten Gebrauch kann das Gerät einen leichten Geruch oder etwas Rauch abgeben. Dies ist bei Geräten mit Antihaftbeschichtung ein normales und gewöhnliches Phänomen.
5. EMPFEHLUNGEN DER CHEFKÖCHE
• Verwenden Sie zum Einfetten der Platten vorzugsweise ungekühlte Butter.
• Um die Fettrückstände von den Platten zu entfernen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus, legen Sie ein saugfähiges Papiertuch zwischen die Platten, und schließen Sie den Deckel.
6. REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
• Die Platten können per Hand oder im Geschirrspüler gereinigt werden. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Gegenstände aus Metall, wie Messer, zum Reinigen der Platten, weil dadurch die Antihaftbeschichtung beschädigt wird.
• Das Gehäuse und der Deckel können mit einem trockenen, weichen Tuch gereinigt werden. Zum Entfernen hartnäckiger Flecken können Sie ein feuchtes Tuch verwenden. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall scheuernde Reinigungsmittel oder -bürsten.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass alle Komponenten sauber und trocken sind, bevor Sie das Gerät verstauen.
• Nutzen Sie zum Verstauen des Netzkabels die Kabelaufwicklung unter der Gerätebasis, und bewahren Sie den Netzstecker zwischen den Griffen auf (Abb.4).
Hinweis: : Wickeln Sie das Stromkabel auf keinen Fall um das Gerät.
• Um Platz zu sparen, kann das Gerät auch in vertikaler Position aufbewahrt werden.

4. GEBRUIK
• Plaats het apparaat op een vlak, gelijkmatig, schoon en droog oppervlak en open het apparaat met de handgreep naar de gebruiker toe.
• Verwarm het apparaat twee keer voor en maak ieder onderdeel zorgvuldig schoon met een vochtig doekje vóór het eerste gebruik.
A. VERWIJDERING EN VERVANGING VAN DE PLATEN Om de platen te verwijderen :
• Twee knoppen dienen ter verwijdering van de platen (Fig.1). De eerste bevindt zich op de linkerbovenhoek van de deksel en de tweede bevindt zich op de rechterbenedenhoek van het onderstel.
• Druk op de knoppen van het apparaat en verwijder gelijktijdig de platen (Fig.2).
NB: Laat het apparaat na gebruik altijd minstens 15 minuten afkoelen alvorens de platen te verwijderen.
Om de platen aan te brengen:
• Iedere plaat dient in de inkepingen aan de achterkant van de behuizing van het apparaat gestoken te worden (Fig.3). Duw vervolgens op de voorkant van de plaat totdat deze correct op zijn plaats zit en vergrendeld is.
B. GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
• Warm het apparaat op met de deksel gesloten en de handgreep vergrendeld.
• Zet de schakelaar om (stand «I»). Een rood lampje gaat branden en geeft aan dat het apparaat aan staat en aan het voorverwarmen is.
• Houd het deksel gesloten terwijl het apparaat opwarmt.
• Zodra de optimale temperatuur is bereikt, gaat er een groen lampje branden.
• Hoewel de platen zijn voorzien van een antiaanbaklaag, is het aan te raden de ingrediënten licht in te vetten met keukenpapier gedrenkt in olie.
• Leg de te bakken producten op de onderste bakplaat. Sluit het deksel en vergrendel de handgreep.
N.B. : Het vergrendelingssysteem in de handgreep van het apparaat zorgt voor een gelijkmatige verhitting van de producten. Bovendien wordt de afstand tussen de bakplaten automatisch aangepast dankzij de bewegende scharnieren aan de achterzijde van het apparaat. De ingrediënten mogen niet dikker zijn dan 3,5 cm.
• Houd het kookproces in de gaten door het deksel op te tillen.
• Verwijder het product voorzichtig met behulp van een hittebestendige kunststof of houten spatel zodra de gewenste garing is bereikt (gebruik nooit metalen voorwerpen aangezien deze de antiaanbaklaag kunnen beschadigen).
• Schakel het apparaat uit zodra de gewenste garing is bereikt (positie 0), trek de voedingskabel uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat minstens 15 minuten lang afkoelen.
N.B. : Het is mogelijk dat, bij het eerste gebruik, het apparaat een lichte geur of wat rook afgeeft. Dit is normaal en gebruikelijk voor apparaten die voorzien zijn van een antiaanbaklaag.
5. DE MENING VAN CHEFKOKS
• Gebruik bij voorkeur boter op kamertemperatuur om de platen in te vetten
• Om aangekoekt vet op de platen te verwijderen, schakel het apparaat uit, plaats een vel absorberend papier en sluit het apparaat.
6. REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• De platen kunnen zowel met de hand als in een vaatwasmachine afgewassen worden. Gebruik geen metalen voorwerpen zoals messen of vorken. Hierdoor kan de antiaanbaklaag beschadigen.
• Gebruik voor het reinigen van de behuizing en het deksel een droge doek. Gebruik een vochtige doek voor hardnekkige vlekken. Gebruik geen schuursponsjes of schuurmiddelen.
• Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen schoon en droog zijn alvorens het apparaat op te ruimen.
• Gebruik de oprolfunctie onderaan het apparaat om de kabel op te bergen en plaats de stekker tussen de handgrepen (Fig.4).
N.B. : Rol de kabel nooit rondom het apparaat.
• Het apparaat mag verticaal worden opgeborgen zodat hij minder ruimte in beslag neemt.

4. UTILIZZO
• Posizionare l'apparecchio su una superficie piana, stabile, pulita e asciutta e aprirlo in modo che l'impugnatura sia posizionata davanti all'utente.
• Prima del primo utilizzo, preriscaldare due volte l’apparecchio e pulire accuratamente ogni parte con un panno umido.
A. RIMOZIONE E SOSTITUZIONE DELLE PIASTRE Per rimuovere le piastre:
• Per rimuovere le piastre utilizzare due pulsanti (Fig.1): il primo si trova nell'angolo superiore sinistro del coperchio e il secondo nell'angolo inferiore destro della base.
• Spingere con decisione i pulsanti verso l'interno dell'apparecchio in modo da sollevare le piastre (Fig.2).
N.B.: dopo l'uso, lasciare raffreddare l'apparecchio per almeno 15 minuti, prima di rimuovere le piastre.
Per posizionare le piastre:
• Per ogni piastra, inserire le due guide di posizionamento nelle scanalature al fondo della scatola dell'apparecchio(Fig.3). Premere quindi sulla parte anteriore della piastra in modo da posizionarla correttamente e bloccarla.
B. UTILIZZO DELL'APPARECCHIO
• Collegare l'apparecchio tenendo il coperchio chiuso e l'impugnatura bloccata.
• Accendere l’interruttore (posizione « I »). Si accende la spia rossa per indicare che l'apparecchio è alimentato e in preriscaldamento.
• Tenere chiuso il coperchio durante il preriscaldamento dell'apparecchio.
• Si accende una luce verde quando viene raggiunta la temperatura ottimale.
• Sebbene le piastre siano dotate di un rivestimento antiadesivo, si consiglia di ungere leggermente gli ingredienti con della carta da cucina imbevuta di olio.
• Posizionare gli alimenti sulla piastra dal fondo. Chiudere il coperchio e bloccare l'impugnatura.
N.B. : il sistema di bloccaggio dell'impugnatura esercita una pressione che consente una cottura omogenea degli alimenti. Le piastre si adattano inoltre alla dimensione degli alimenti grazie alle cerniere mobili situate dietro l'apparecchio. Lo spessore degli ingredienti non deve superare 3,5 cm.
• Valutare la cottura sollevando il coperchio.
• Raggiunto il grado di cottura previsto, togliere gli alimenti sollevandone delicatamente i bordi con una spatola in plastica termoresistente o legno (non utilizzare utensili in metallo, in quanto potrebbero danneggiare il rivestimenti antiaderente).
• Dopo la cottura, spegnere l'interruttore (posizione «0»), staccare il cavo
dell'alimentazione elettrica e lasciare raffreddare l'apparecchio per almeno 15 minuti prima di manipolarlo.
N.B. : quando viene utilizzato per la prima volta, l’apparecchio può sprigionare un leggero odore e un po’ di fumo. E' normale e consueto per gli apparecchi dotati di superficie antiaderente.
5. IL PARERE DEGLI CHEF
• Per ungere le piastre, utilizzare preferibilmente del burro a temperatura ambiente.
• Per rimuovere l'unto rimasto sulle piastre, spegnere l'apparecchio, passare un foglio di carta assorbente e richiudere l'apparecchio.
6. PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Le piastre si possono lavare a mano o in lavastoviglie. Non pulirle con oggetti metallici, come i coltelli, in quanto danneggerebbero il rivestimento antiaderente.
• Pulire la scatola e il coperchio con un panno morbido e asciutto. Per lo sporco più resistente, utilizzare un panno umido. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o spazzole per lucidare.
• Prima di riporre l'apparecchio, accertare che i componenti siano puliti e asciutti.
• Per riporre il cavo elettrico, utilizzare l'avvolgitore situato sulla base dell'apparecchio e posizionare la spina della corrente del cavo tra le impugnature (Fig.4).
N.B. : non avvolgere il filo elettrico attorno all’apparecchio.
• Si può riporre l'apparecchio in posizione verticale per ridurre l'ingombro.

4. USO
• Coloque el dispositivo sobre una superficie plana, estable, limpia y seca y con la apertura de forma que la empuñadura quede frente al usuario.
• Antes de su primera utilización, es preciso precalentar dos veces el aparato y limpiar cuidadosamente cada pieza con un paño húmedo.
A. RETIRADA Y SUSTITUCIÓN DE LAS PLACAS Para retirar las placas:
• Dos botones permiten la retirada de las placas (Fig.1). El primero está ubicado en la esquina superior izquierda de la cubierta y el segundo en la esquina inferior derecha de la base.
• Presione firmemente estos botones hacia el interior del dispositivo mientras levanta las placas (Fig.2).
Nota: Tras su uso, deje siempre que el dispositivo se enfríe al menos 15 minutos antes de retirar las placas.
Para colocar las placas:
• Para cada placa, inserte las dos guías de posicionamiento en las muescas situadas al fondo de la estructura del dispositivo (Fig.3). Después empuje en la parte delantera de la placa hasta que se coloque correctamente en su lugar y quede bloqueada.
B. USO DEL DISPOSITIVO
• Conecte el dispositivo manteniendo la tapadera cerrada y la empuñadura bloqueada.
• Encender el interruptor (posición «I»). Se encenderá una luz roja, indicando que el dispositivo tiene alimentación y que esta precalentándose.
• Mantenga la tapa cerrada durante el precalentamiento del dispositivo.
• Se ilumina una luz verde cuando se alcanza la temperatura óptima.
• Aunque las placas cuentan con un revestimiento antiadhesivo, se aconseja engrasar ligeramente los ingredientes con una servilleta de papel empapada en aceite.
• Coloque el alimento sobre la placa de abajo. Cierre la tapa y bloquee la empuñadura.
Nota.: El sistema de bloqueo de la empuñadura ejerce una presión que permite una cocción homogénea de los alimentos. Además, las placas se adaptan al tamaño de los alimentos gracias a las bisagras flotantes situadas en la parte trasera del dispositivo. El grosor de los ingredientes no debe superar 3,5 cm.
• Valore la cocción levantando la tapa.
• Cuando alcance el nivel de cocción deseado del alimento, retírelo levantándolo delicadamente por los bordes con ayuda de una espátula de plástico termoresistente o de madera (no utilice nunca utensilios de metal, ya que podrían dañar el
revestimiento antiadherente).
• Tras la cocción, apague el interruptor (posición « 0 »), desconecte el cable de alimentación eléctrico y deje que el dispositivo se enfríe al menos 15 minutos antes de manipularlo.
Nota.: Cuando utilice el dispositivo por primera vez, puede emitir un ligero olor y un poco de humo. Esto es normal y habitual para dispositivos equipados con superficie antiadherente.
5. SUGERENCIAS DE LOS CHEFS
• Para engrasar las placas, utilice preferentemente mantequilla a temperatura ambiente.
• Para retirar la grasa estancada en las placas, apague el dispositivo, pase una hoja de papel absorbente y vuelva a cerrar el dispositivo.
6. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Las placas pueden lavarse a mano o en el lavavajillas. No utilice nunca objetos metálicos como cuchillos, para la limpieza de las placas, ya que dañarán el revestimiento antiadherente.
• La estructura y la tapa pueden limpiarse con un paño suave seco. Para las manchas más resistentes, utilice un paño húmedo. No utilice nunca un agente limpiador abrasivo o cepillos de cerdas duras.
• Asegúrese de que todas las piezas estén limpias y secas antes de guardar el dispositivo.
• Para guardar el cable de alimentación eléctrica, utilice el enrollador situado sobre la base del dispositivo y coloque la clavija del cable entre las empuñaduras (Fig.4).
Nota: • No enrosque nunca el cable eléctrico alrededor del dispositivo.
• El dispositivo puede guardarse en posición vertical para ocupar menos espacio.
