LEAD-ME Winter Training School Madrid’21

Media Accessibility Training: Sign Language and Subtitling for the Deaf and Hard-of-hearing

▪ “Hybrid” school (mixture of face-to-face interaction and live streaming)

▪ New LEAD-ME Winter School: on media accessibility training, specially on those aspects related to the required skills and competences of

professionals and students, curriculum design, methodological approaches, and on training materials and assessment.

▪ The focus this time will be specifically on sign language and subtitling for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH).

▪ Following the same structure from the previous Winter School (Barcelone) and Summer School (Warsaw), lectures, workshops and students’

presentations will be organized following this line of research.
