Test for which all strains tested were positive included: D-glucose, D-fructose, D-galactose, D -Mannose, D-ribose, glycerol, D-saccharate, mucate, L-malate, citrate, D-glucuronate, D-gluconate, L-aspartate, L-glutamate, L-proline, L-alanine, L-serine, acid from saccharose. In addition, all strains were negative for the assimilation of Pectine, Nitrate reduction, utilization of L(+) tartrate, and DNAse activity as well as for the 44 Biotype characters not listed here.

with P. cannabina occasionally had some symptoms. However, P. cannabina has not been
