SCSI Bus Termination
Leave both terminators in place if the SCSI host adapter is connected to one end of the SCSI cable and the ACB-4525S4000 to the other end.
Pull both terminators if the ACB-4525S4000 is connected between the SCSI host adapter and another SCSI device.

Setup
The SCSI host adapter hard disk format program initializes the ESDI hard drive with a low-level format.
In case of Adaptec SCSI host adapters, this process is done within the DOS operating system. At the DOS start up, a host adapter specific ASPI driver has to be loaded with the help of a config.sys entry. Then 'scsifmt.exe' from Adaptec initializes the drive.
