Universanté Conference « Prevention, motivation, success:

prescribing physical activity to students? » Third Denis Theunynck Day

6 June 2019, Dunkirk (France)

Call for Proposals

Since 2013, following the annual Universanté research, and in partnership with the Mutualité Française des Hauts de France, the URePSSS EA 7369 laboratory organises a conference on students’

health.

This year, we identified one main theme for the oral communications (15+5 minutes) and poster sessions: the “prescription of physical activity to students. In particular, we will choose the communications focusing on:

 Studies, interventions and innovative actions in the field of devices encouraging students to practice physical activity, with a view to prevention or intervention (sleep improvement, stress management, etc.);

 The benefits of physical activity and their links to motivation and academic success

These papers may be presented from a "research" point of view by laboratories, or from a

"experience feedback" perspective by associations or institutions.

As the previous years, graduate and undergraduate students’ works focusing on the area of students’

health, preferably in connection with physical activity, will be rewarded by the “Denis Theunynck prize”.

Proposals:

Should be sent in French or English to alessandro.porrovecchio@gmail.com before 30thApril 2018 (250 words). Candidates should indicate clearly the type of communication (oral or poster) and if they wish to apply for the “Denis Theunynck prize”.

The proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to modify the type of communication initially proposed (oral or poster).
