• Most students did not apply the momentum equation correctly

• Many students did not calculate the relative velocity correctly

• Few students confused the p in Bernoulli equation (pressure) with power

• Part (a) had a typo where the A1 and A2 relationship was asked to be found using momentum and continuity equations. It should have asked to use continuity and Bernoulli equations. If students used the continuity equation correctly they earned full credit for part (a)
