Wall Dictation

In group of two : you need one runner and one writer. The runner runs in the back of the class and records the dictation sentence after sentence. He runs back to his partner and dictate what he recorded. The first group who is finished wins.

Yesterday evening I was to a rock concert and it was great. The band is very famous. The name of the singer is Bob. His voice is beautiful, and he can play the saxophone too. The

drummer and the guitarists are very talented as well. I usually don’t like rock music. I prefer classical music. But the hit song of the band is great, and I am beginning to love rock music. I can play the piano but not good enough to be part of a group.

For the teacher : hang at least three versions of the dictations in the back of the class. Correct the dictation at the end of the activity to check if everything is correct.
