Exercise Introduction – Marquetry saw

Introduction to machine elements – Reminders

This exercise was an exam given in FIMI several years ago. Here, you are provided assembly drawings (DT1/DT2) and answering documents (DR1/DR2) already filled-in with the solutions. Therefore, almost nothing more to do!!

1. Rotating elements

a. Identify the different solutions for revolute and sliding joints in the document.

b. On DR2, draw the loads applied to the shaft and define their application points with letters (A, B…).

2. Complete joints and fit computation

a. Identify the various solutions for complete joints in the documents.

b. Propose a solution for complete joint between the pulley (30) and the shaft (5) that does not use any additional elements.

c. Compute the clearance (min and max values) for the fit between the support (24) and threaded plug (35)?

Inspired by [MT12], we provide an example of a pure group that does not have the indepen- dence property, whose Fitting subgroup is neither nilpotent nor definable and whose

As can be seen, in this partition of the 16 possible 4-tuples into 3 mutually exclusive subsets, L corresponds to the truth table of the analogy A, K gathers the 8 patterns including

The energy stores in the z modes cannot come from charges as it is stored in the wide space between the plates. This energy can only come from the time derivation of the

To associate semantics to the architectural shape forces above all to regard the building as a system of knowledge, then to extract a model from it description, and finally to

By Theorem 4.2, the specialised algebra k(η) H q n is not generally semisimple, and a result by Dipper and Mathas which will be specified later (see § 5.2) implies that the study

If we look back at the example in Figure 3b [see page 7] for instance, transfer φ(3) is improving in a strictly-active minimal solution, since node 3 possesses at least 2 units
