Preface

This volume contains the papers presented at IWESQ 2020: 2nd International Workshop on Experience with SQuaRE series and its Future Direction held on December 1, 2020 in Singapore (actually held online for the situation of COVID- 19).

There were 13 submissions. Each submission was reviewed by three program committee members. The committee decided to accept 10 papers (including four position papers). The program includes two invited talks, but they are also reviewed similarly to the regular papers. Its acceptance rate is 71.4%.

The ISO/IEC 25000 (Systems and Software Quality Requirements and Eval- uation: SQuaRE) series is a set of international standards for systems and soft- ware, data and IT service quality, which has been widely used for a couple of decades. In the research field, it have been also examined as a tool for performing various analyses and evaluations on systems and software quality.

The 2nd International Workshop on Experience with SQuaRE series and its Future Direction (IWESQ 2020) aims at sharing such research outcomes and issues, and experience of practical applications of the SQuaRE series, in order to promote much more fruitful research and practice for quality systems and software products.

Furthermore, we gratefully acknowledge the professional work of the inter- national program committee members, who have contributed substantially with their highly qualified referee reports.

In addition, we owe great thanks to the APSEC conference organization members for their dedication and professionalism in taking care of the many aspects of conference management.

Moreover, we would like to thank the developers and other professional staff of EasyChair.org, who made it possible for us to use the resources of this excel- lent and comprehensive conference management system, from the call of papers and inviting reviewers, to handling paper submissions, communicating with the authors, and creating the online volume of the conference proceedings.

We also want to thank all presenters and attendees for actively contributing to the success of IWESQ 2020. We are looking forward to excellent presenta- tions and fruitful discussions, which will broaden our professional horizons. All participants are invited to make new friends within the community of SQuaRE users.
