SUMMARY - American plum line pattern virus (APLPV) was reported for the first time in the Mediterranean, isolated from Japanese plum in Palestine.. Its identification was based

Three protocols were selected and submitted to ring testing: DASI-ELISA with the universal monoclonal antibody 5B, and the strain specific MAbs 4D (Dideron) and AL

A total of 48 isolates were identified and typed by DASI-ELISA using monoclonal antibodies (MAbs): 5B (universal), 4DG5 (PPV-D specific), AL (PPV-M specific), AC (PPV-C specific) and

SUMMARY - Plum and peach samples were collected from different regions in Yugoslavia and strain identification was done by using: (i) PCR-RFLP; (ii) RT PCR with strain

All plum isolates coming from the regions of Drjanovo, Plovdiv and Sofia were identified as M strain, while PPV-D and mixed infection (M+D) were found only in Kyustendil region..
