1. Les affirmations suivantes sont fausses. Mets les phrases à la forme négative pour rétablir la vérité. Utilise la forme contractée. Réécris les phrases entièrement.
a/ It is my copybook. -> It isn’t my copybook.
b/ My parents are at the theatre. -> My parents aren’t at the theatre.
c/. I am Spanish. -> I’m not Spanish.
2. Utilise les éléments suivants pour formuler des questions. Attention tu dois rajouter le verbe BE à la forme qui convient (pour cela, repère le sujet) et le placer au bon endroit dans chaque question. Réécris les questions entièrement.
a/ who / they ? -> Who are they ?
b/ your friend / in your class ? -> Is your friend in your class ? c/ when / the football match ? -> When is the football match ? d/ his parents / teachers ? -> Are his parents teachers ?
3. Complète les phrases avec le verbe BE au présent. Il faudra parfois mettre le verbe à la forme négative (pleine ou contractée), donc fais bien attention au sens des phrases.
1. Mickey is a mouse ( ).
2. Thomas and Oliver are happy.
3. I don’t like snakes ( ). They aren’t (ou are not) beautiful.
4. Is Brian in the kitchen ? No, he isn’t. He is (ou he’s)in the garden. (kitchen= cuisine / garden
=jardin)
5. Felix and Paul are French.
6. They aren’t (ou are not) in the house, they are (ou they’re) in the car. (car = voiture) 7. I am (ou I’m) a student in Legé and my English teacher is Miss David.
8. I’m not (ou am not) forty years old, I am eleven years old.
9. We are (ou we’re) in the same class.
10. Mario is a plumber. Mario and Luigi are brothers. ( plumber= plombier).
