INFORMATION RELEASE For immediate distribution

Fern Stockdale Winder to lead review of mental health and addictions in Saskatchewan

Calgary, Alberta, June 10, 2013 – The Mental Health Commission of Canada congratulates MHCC Vice Chair Fern Stockdale Winder, PhD, who has been named to lead a provincial review of mental health and addiction services in Saskatchewan.

Winder, a clinical psychologist in Saskatoon, has been practicing psychology for over 15 years and is an inaugural member of MHCC’s Board of Directors.

She has been asked to develop a plan to strengthen interventions for mental health and addictions issues among Saskatchewan residents, reporting back to the provincial government in the fall of 2014.
