Modeling and optimization of the composite plateslaminated by genetic algorithm

Safer /M, Belkheir /F

Abstract : Our study made it possible to develop and test a program ofoptimization based on a technique of optimization based on theuse of a genetic algorithm. This program moreover was appliedto the resolution of several types of problems connected to theoptimal design of laminated structures. Among these problems, orientations of the folds, the material and the number of folds asvariable which were already solved . In this work, we havepresented the principles of the genetic algorithm functioning , itsapplication to the laminated composites and to the originaltechnique of coding which allows giving an account of theindustrial constraints of composites development. The flexibility of the general structure of our software allowstreatening the various types of problems like: calculation of themodule of rigidity as well as the factors of buckling and rupture. We develop the OpStrAG software to optimize the characteristicsof rigidity of the laminates and also their constraints towardsrupture and their deformations under a given loading.

In summary, we have used the genetic algorithm to determine the ground state energy of the 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional +J spin glasses on the square and cubic lattices. The

In fact, the best solution found by the GA, here called H-GA, uses only 31% of the dimensions from the canonical version of the descriptor and still achieves a similar performance.

In previous part, we presented a description composed of segments and arcs, which is more robust and accurate to describe complex symbols, especially for scale sensitive symbols..

c) If the aim of the algorithm is to get a minimum of a list of fitness functions computed on the population whose elements are potentials solutions to a given problem, we also give

A hybrid estimation method is proposed to estimate simultaneously the kinetic and energetic parameters of chemical models. This method combines a genetic algorithm with a

The difficulties related to GAs concern mainly the setting of some control parameters (number of individuals in a population, maximum number of generations) and particularly

The algorithm is applicable only for cases when the exchange interaction constant is the same for all pairs of interacting spins. Any lattice architecture and

As the experimental results show, the best result of optimizing the temperature disbalance can be achieved by using joint adjusting of the risers balancing valves and heater valves,
