Class 4: Writing (Prométhée)

Class 5: Presentation techniques (Marcelo)

Class 6: Project presentations (Marcelo/Prométhée)

(10)

General organization of a class

Discussion

Homework statement for the following class

(11)

Evaluation

Detailed in the following slides

Homeworks (H)

Participation and presence in class (C) Project (P)

Final grade: G =0.4×H+0.25×C +0.35×P Each homework missing will cost you one point

(12)

Homeworks

At the end of each class, one (or more) homework is assigned

The deadline is the Wednesday of the following week, 11 p.m. (strict deadline!)

Student selects the subject (individual work) We will see how later

Use all techniques learned to prepare the final project

The idea is to follow all steps and provide a scientific paper at the end Defend the idea with a nice presentation

Grade: Written document + presentation + quality of contribution

(15)

Project

Template available on the website Presentation during the 6th class

Duration will depend on the final number of students The slides will be the homework after lecture 5
