We are pleased to report you on the wood analysis of the Hankar mailbox that you deposited in the laboratory for Wood Biology of the Royal

Museum for Central Africa.

Microscopic analysis of the wood anatomical features and comparison with scientific reference material made clear that the wood is from the botanical species Nauclea diderrichii (commercial name “Bilinga”).
