Rbum6. - Nous avons am6lior6 des calculs atomistiques du cceur d'une dislocation coin dans les cristaux ioniques du type NaCl de la manikre suivante :

1) Nous avons choisi des potentiels d'interaction rkls, adaptant les paramktres, qui se prhentent dans les divers terrnes des potentiels, a plusieurs propriktks physiques des cristaux.

2) Nous avons 6tabli une transition continue entre le cceur de la dislocation et la r6gion externe en utilisant la thkorie Bastique du 2e et e0 ordre.

De m8me nous avons trait6 des dkfauts ponctuels et leur interaction avec des dislocations. LesrQultats obtenus montrent qu'il est possible d'expliquer les diff6rences o b s e r v k dans la dkformation plastique entre NaCl et AgCl.

Abstract.

-

Atomistic calculations of the core structure and related phenomena have been further improved since the Marseille conference with respect to :

1) the choice of realistic interaction potentials and their fitting to a variety of physicalproperties;

2) the adjustment of the core region to the surrounding continuum, the latter having been treated by nonlinear elasticity theory.

From these calculations and a corresponding treatment of point defects it seems to be possible to explain both, the different plastic behaviour and the different disorder encountered in NaCl and kgcl.

Results concerning the interaction of point defects and dislocations on different glide planes and the dissociation of a dislocation into partials will be shortly reported.
