RESOLUTION No. 547

DATE AND VENUE OF THE THIRTY-SECOND REGULAR MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, at its Thirty-first Regular Meeting,

HAVING REVIEWED:

Document IICA/CE/Doc. 586 (11), “Date and venue of the Thirty-second Regular Meeting of the Executive Committee,”

CONSIDERING:

That, pursuant to Article 22 of the Rules of Procedure of the Executive Committee, this governing body of the Institute must hold one regular meeting each year;

That it is necessary to set the date and venue of the Thirty-second Regular Meeting of the Executive Committee in 2012;

That, in accordance with Article 25 of the aforesaid Rules of Procedure, if no site is offered by one of the Member States to hold the meeting of the Executive Committee in another country, the meeting will be held at the Institute’s Headquarters in San Jose, Costa Rica; and,

That the Director General reports that he has received no formal offer from a Member State to host the next Regular Meeting of the Executive Committee.

RESOLVES:

1. To hold the Thirty-second Regular Meeting of the Executive Committee at IICA Headquarters in San Jose, Costa Rica, during the first half of 2012.

2. To instruct the Director General, in accordance with the procedures established in the regulations currently in effect, to issue the call to the Member States to take part in the Thirty-second Regular Meeting of the Executive Committee.
