Le traitement du diverticule hypo pharyngé de Zenker reste chirurgical.

Devant les résultats rapportés par les auteurs et notre expérience, l’approche endoscopique est actuellement le traitement de première intention pour tout patient présentant un diverticule hypopharyngé supérieur à 2 cm.

La diverticulostomie par voie endoscopique à l’aide la pince

auto-suturante à agrafe GIA30 modifié est une technique fiable. Elle assure une courte durée d’hospitalisation, reprise alimentaire rapide et une faible morbidité. Sachant qu’on s’adresse à une population avec un âge avancé et des co-morbidités lourdes.
