De fortes quantités de fondants routiers sont collectés par les réseaux de collecte et les bassins
de traitement. Aussi, il est nécessaire d’examiner les différentes stratégies de réduction de la
concentration en Cl− et d’établir des études de faisabilité. Le sel épandu pourrait être réutilisé
après lavage dans des bassins de stockage des eaux de ruissellement chargées ou évaporées dans
des bassins qui stockent l’eau en hiver et favorisent l’évaporation en été. Le sel présent dans les
eaux pourrait être capturé par des résines ou par phytoremédiation notammentvia des filtres
plantés de macrophytes halophytes (Morteauet al.,2015).
