The pandemic that is raging questions us about tomor- row’s world and the influence it will have in the near and distant future. What about this memory that shapes us and necessarily projects us towards the memory of the future?
Beyond the health and the societal aspects, what will be the impact on our memory in the broad sense, the mem- ory of each individual, the collective memory, the memory of companies, the digital memory including new technolo- gies and their uses, the overabundance and telescoping of sometimes contradictory information. Will we forget, “will we move on”? Who remembered the Spanish flu and its origin, which has been seen to resurface in the media? Is our memory volatile? How much control do individuals and society have over the management of emotions and their influence on memory? Do disasters of any kind have salutary or deleterious effects on our memory? The prism of memory is broad, the interactions between the different forms of memory and the decompartmentalization of sci- entific disciplines open up horizons that bring together the members of the Scientific Council of theObservatoire B2V des Mémoires(B2V Observatory of Memories). This sharing of knowledge between the neurosciences and the human sciences is led by the neuropsychologist Francis Eustache,
