This open call of ESSACHESS – Journal for Communication Studies, celebrating its 10th anniversary, intends to offer a panoramic, a pluridisciplinary and an open view on the matters related to information and communication sciences by bringing together scholars and researches from different disciplinary fields which present new tendencies in terms of theories, concepts, methodologies, empirical results, etc.

The rich articulation of different scientific points of view on a large diversity of topics and the impact of new emerging themes (especially related to the digitalization) on communication sciences are the main objective of this non thematic issue.

The aim of this call is to receive submissions of papers regarding both theoretical and applied works that are meaningful for information and communication sciences.

Important Deadlines

March 15, 2017: full paper submission (guidelines available here:

http://www.essachess.com/index.php/jcs/about/submissions#authorGuidelines) – May 30, 2017: full paper acceptance

Full papers should be between 6,000-8,000 words in length. Papers can be submitted in English or French. The abstracts should be in English and French (150-200 words) followed by 5 keywords.

Please provide the full names, affiliations, and e-mail addresses of all authors, indicating the contact author. Papers, and any queries, should be sent to:

Authors of the accepted papers will be notified by e-mail. The journal will be published in July 2018.
