Résumé :

In the frame of the ECOPROPHET project, we have performed a local scale evaluation of three land surface models: ISBA, ORCHIDEE and a diagnostic model (with algorithms closely related to those used to produce some of the LSA-SAF products). The model intercomparison study included their performance to simulate the surface fluxes, their interactions with soil moisture and LAI, and their ability to capture the seasonal phenology. In this seminar we will address our findings and elaborate on possible improvements in ISBA, in particular in the biomass allocation scheme.
