Recently an agent-based system for decision support for glider pilots was designed and its initial version implemented (the GliderAgent system). While it was assumed that it will work on smart phones, its initial implementation was PC-based. In the meantime, a version of JADE agent platform for the Android system was introduced. The presentation will describe issues that had to be addressed for the JADE-Android to satisfy the requirements of the GliderAgent system. Furthermore, the slightly re-designed and updated version of the GliderAgent will be presented.
