IBM Display Station Platform Accessory for Displaywriter System
The Display Station Platform facilitates the installation of a Displaywriter work station on a desk with limited space. This accessory (PIN 4466709) incorporates a hinged keyboard support with a cable raceway and a rear cover for the electronics module to conceal external cables and connectors.

Description: The Display Station Platform base section supports the Displaywriter electronics and display modules. The keyboard is supported on a separate section hinged to the front of the base section. The keyboard may be lowered for typing or tilted up and latched when not in use. The platform permits installation of the Displaywriter work station on most standard desk typing returns (minimum depth of sixteen:inches).
External cables are channeled into the cable raceway located at the rear of the platform. This raceway serves to organize and conceal device cabling. A cover is provided for the rear of the electronics module to conceal the connectors.
Pianned availability: Initial availability of the Display Station Platform from the IBM Systems Supplies Division (SSD) is planned for June 1983.
Planning information: The customer is responsible for the installation of the Display Station Platform. Customer set-up instructions are provided with the platform.

Charges: The Display Station Platform is available as a purchase-only accessory. Volume discounts are available from the IBM Systems Supplies Division.
Purchase price: $200.

Warranty: Standard warranty for IBM System Supplies Division (SSD) furniture and accessories applies.
