SSH DOCTORAL WORKSHOP ■ AUF-IdA
Carried out by the IdA Caribbean Pole, in partnership with the AUF
OBJECTIVES
• Creation of a space for exchange and mutual aid around the realization of the thesis, by federating doctoral students from AUF member universities in the Caribbean and universities hosting IdA poles, in the fields of letters, languages, humanities and social sciences.
• To equip the students to better face the different challenges of their doctoral career.
• To reinforce the doctoral supervision process without replacing the various forums for the presentation of scientific work, such as seminars, conferences and symposiums.
ACTIVITIES
A- Eight monthly online meetings, from October to May:
o Four sessions of exchange on the work in progress of the doctoral students
(elaboration of the thesis plan, writing of a chapter, an article or a communication).
o Four sessions of doctoral training in methodology and organization of scientific work in SHS.
B- A conference in hybrid format (June), gathering all the registered participants.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- The working sessions will take place on the first Wednesday of the month, from 10:00 to 12:00, Santo Domingo time.
- Working languages: French, Spanish, English.
- An AUF certificate will be issued to registrants who have participated in more than 75% of the activities.
