Two significant milestones have been crossed in the past few days by Concerto European Developer in the development of its park at Gaserans, located in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu, Catalonia. Delivery of the park’s first logistics platform on 30 November to Jump 88 Trading, a subsidiary of the Barcino group, a Catalan import/export company, is the first stage of its achievement, further to completion of the site’s urban development. The 3,680 sqm building, comprising 3,180 sqm of warehouses and 500 sqm of office space, has been leased for 10 years firm. Yesterday, Concerto European Developer also signed a 10-year firm lease with ILS Servicios Logisticos (a logistics service company, and subsidiary of the Ibex group) for a logistics platform of 10,740 sqm. This complex will be delivered at the end of 2013, and includes a distribution centre of around 9,970 sqm and 770 sqm of office space, industrial and administrative premises. Located close to Barcelona, just off the motorway linking the city to Perpignan, the Sant Feliu de Buixalleu site is already home to a substantial number of industrial and logistics companies, and this progress represents a new milestone in the area’s development. Concerto European Developer has land reserves that will enable the development of three other projects, for which marketing is under way..
