BAPR-73 - PROBLEM 1: Field Service has difficulty finding sources of signals shown on prints. Reference to Wire List is tedious.
CORRECTION 1: Add references to signal sources.
PROBLEM 2: Cover sheet, sheet 2, shows a capacitor, C20, which does not exist.
CORRECTION 2: Delete reference to C20.
CORRECTION 3: Correct drafting errors.

MAY-73 - PROBLEM: Incorrect etch line position causes lead from E74 pin 8 to pin FF2 to touch E74 pin 7, ground, resulting in parity operation being permanently enabled. This is not detected by the diagnostics.
CORRECTION: Using an Xacto knife, ensure that etch passing from E74 pin 8 to FF2 does not touch E74 pin 7, side 1.
In-plant effectivity -03 -All boards shipped after 6/4/73 shall be inspected for this problem.
Field effectivity -Check, and implement if necessary, on next scheduled maintenance call, and/or if symptoms are present.

SEP-73 - PROBLEM: The lead to E74 pin 8 is grounded by contact with E74 pin 7, permanently enabling parity operation. Diagnostics, with the ex- ception of CTP , do not detect this.CORRECTION: Relayout new etch revision "C " board and rework etch revision "B " boards as follows: Ensure that etch running from E74 pin 8 to FF2 does not touch E74 pin 7 on side 1. Do this by running a knife blade between the side 1 pad of E74 pin 7 and the adjacent etch run.
In-plant effectivity -Rework immediately all M7278's in stock; use re- worked material until etch revision "C " boards are available.
Field effectivity -Rework all M7278's when symptoms are present or at next PM
