2nd Call For Papers for
Co-authored Book: The social crisis: actors, constructions patterns and rationalities
The historicity of human societies around the world, African or not, shows that they are crossed by a series of changes at multiple levels, on various scales, and hire according to several modes, human beings as agent for change. So, according to his specific needs and his environment (natural, institutional, family, political, etc), the social actor develops his own logic in a constant pronunciation with daily and historical eventuality to find new resolutions, new action and reaction modes. Facing the transverse problems of social crisis, we attend the emergence of collective or individual, incidental or permanent actors, hired in a series of multidimensional transactions answering logic sometimes not very comprehensible with regard to agreed rationalities and leading to the development of outside/marginal norms outside structures definite but established by social general agreement. New dispositions are implemented for anticipate, study and/or solve the crisis and its demonstrations. If social crisis seems being universal, answers are localised. The problem for social and human sciences is to objectify accruing questionings; clarify question in all its dimensions; bring an empirical material to analyse it, represent its fundamental mechanisms, interpret his effects on the society; question punctual answers, identify his artisans, do the stocktaking of the models of making easier action and put in an obvious place the experiments of regulation of social crisis. How do these actors invent new corpus? How do they reinvent themselves to approach, produce, study and resolve their problems? What social innovation processes do they launch?
Social and humanities sciences PhD candidates and young researchers of the universities of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), and Gaston Berger (Senegal), hires a bet together their knowledge.
Nevertheless, the door is opened to every junior researcher, African of not, having Africa, but also Asia, south and Latina America, and Caribbean, east Europe, as research area, for the publication of a collective book. We wait that the authors land on a multidisciplinary perspective (history, sociology, anthropology, geography, economy, political sciences) following themes (not exhaustive!!):
