Health status of the patient with Ebola virus disease

Dr. Félix Báez, who contracted Ebola virus disease in Sierra Leone, has been hospitalised at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) since 21 November 2014. Thanks to the care and treatments that he has received, his health condition continues to improve. The latest analy- sis results show a positive evolution.

Today, Dr. Félix Báez is still weak and is recovering gradually. He is eating normally and his gen- eral condition is improving every day. He is in daily contact with his family.

This positive trend should be confirmed by further analysis.

This good news has been welcomed by the medical team. All measures continue to be taken to ensure the safety of all patients and of all personnel mobilised around this patient.
