L E contrôle des agents polluants et des émissions est devenu un facteur majeur dans la conception des systèmes de combustion modernes. Le projet Liquid Hydrogen Fueled Aircraft - System Analysis nancé en 2000 par la Commission Européenne (FPs) peut être considéré comme une initiative dans ce domaine. Dans le cadre de ce projet, la Aachen University of Applied Sciences a développé à titre expérimental le principe de combustion d'hydrogène Micromix et l'a implémenté avec succès dans la turbine à gaz Honeywell APU GTCP 36-600. La réduction de la température de réaction, l'élimination des points chauds de la zone de réaction et le maintien minimal de la durée nécessaire à la formation de NOx
