Some interactions between sex a,nd dietwere observed: the increase in the
dietary
energy content resulted in better results in females than in castrates; alsomaintaining
the level of 5g g crudeprotein per Meal
DEduring
thefinishing period
was associated with a decreased energyconsumption
andconsequently
a reduced carcassfatness in castrates, but not in females.
