and take real measurements online!

(6)

How does it work?

The equipment is real and located in other universities

When you create a circuit and try to measure it, a real set of relays in special boards build the particular circuit in real time and connect it to real instruments (oscilloscope, DMM, power supply,

function generator)!

(7)

How does it work?

It is not a simulation, but real hardware available online, through our network of labs in different universities in different continents

Step 1: write Arduino code in your web browser...

Step 2: send your design to a real Arduino UNO...

(12)

How does it work?

The devices are real, located in

LabsLand or in partner institutions in different countries (Spain, Colombia, South Africa…), and LabsLand balances the load of users among the multiple different queues

“UGA has been using LabsLand’s remote labs and we now have our own lab for our students and for contributing to the LabsLand network. Students find remote labs fun, very easy to use, and very convenient: being able to do

homework with real hardware at any time, anywhere.”

Dominik May, Assistant Professor, University of Georgia, USA

“Labsland made the process of moving labs online easy and fast, allowing us to teach our content, experimental

methods, and equipment use necessary to the program”

“This is a REAL FPGA programming experience.

Students write code in an

integrated design environment.

Then they download their

programs to a real FPGA and see it operating in real time!”

Paul Furth, Associate Professor, New Mexico State University

Students love it

They remotely access real labs

Over 60,000 laboratory sessions to the circuits laboratory by over 5,000 students in the last three months

(24)

Your institution’s space at LabsLand

LabsLand labs can be added as regular resources to your Learning

Management System You have a personalized space where

you can manage students, permissions and obtain usage analytics

(25)

Additional: labs for engineering

Pendulum Newton’s Cradle Optics Buoyancy Rolling Car

Inclined Plane Radioactivity Spring Planarians Microscope

(26)

You may also host LabsLand remote laboratories

Most LabsLand users do not purchase labs:

they access remotely

However, it is also possible to become a lab provider

Lab providers get their own labs, increase visibility and obtain free access to other

labs or shared revenue
