GHl Software Release Note JUNE 1985

To clear up the confusion caused by changes in the way software has been released, all future software releases will be issued on disks which contain both the software release and the

following command files :

• CMD File Name XXLOAD.CMD XXGET.CMD XXPUT.CMD

Where XX is :-

Function

Loads and links software release Gets files required off floppy Puts files required on floppy, to create backup release floppy.

DR for DRAFT / NET, OP for OPTl / NET, VU for VU /NET,

Ml for miscellaneous, etc.

Each software release is loaded in the same way. To do this type EXACTLY the following :

FLOP GET XXLOAD.CMD /NOC <CR>

@XXLOAD <CR>

where <CR> indicates that you press the RETURN key. This will load and link the software onto the Boot area of your disc.
