CM 3426 Half-Height disk drive product information

Computer Memories offers Winchester disk drives in a half-height. high storage yet low cost package. The CM 3000 is available in a 25.6 Mbyte version with an average access time of 85 msec. Com- bining Winchester technology proven design techniques with the best in quality and reliability, the OEM is assured that Computer Memories is the right choice.

DC voltage requirements are identical to minifloppy drives so that the same power supplies may be used for both drive types.

The CM 3000 offers technological leadership through the ultimate combin- ation of a high torque precision stepper motor, on-board microprocessor, crystal controlled spindle drive, and high output heads. Utilization of a stepper motor linear band actuator and associated elec- tronics achieves a track density of 606 TPI.
