DATA FORMS

Introduction

These forms are designed to assist the National Co-ordinating Committees in the collection of data on transport and communications development in the country. The information collected will assist in planning as well as monitoring the implementation and evaluation of the impact of the UNTACDA programme.

During the preparatory period, EGA will establish a computerized data base for the Decade programme. The NCC's will be expected to participate in the definition of data requirements at country level as well as in the collection of the required information. It is expected that once this data system is perfected, projects will be developed during the implementation phase of the Decade programme to establish at country level standardized data base systems.
